About This Role

Lead modernization and integration of Citi's FX trade processing platform, focusing on migration to strategic risk platforms and automation.

Drive adoption of cloud solutions to enhance automation testing, reduce manual environment management, and accelerate regression cycles.

Champion best practices globally across FX developer teams and coach junior members, resolving complex business and system process challenges.

Minimum Requirements

10+ years of professional experience in Java development.

Strong core Java skills with experience in Spring Boot, Spring Security, OAuth.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Experience with build tools (Gradle, Maven), build platforms (Jenkins, TeamCity), and solid Linux/Unix skills.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experienced in both greenfield projects and legacy system modernization within financial services, notably FX domain.

Capable of handling complex integration and automation tasks involving cloud environments and orchestration frameworks.

Skilled in advanced Java application architecture and coaching, with knowledge of technologies like Apache Kafka, Docker, Openshift, Observability tools, and GenAI.
