IND Lead Engineer, Data

Lead end-to-end design, development, deployment, and monitoring of advanced machine learning and AI solutions, including conversational AI and Generative AI use cases.

Own statistical modeling, feature engineering, and complex data exploration using Python and SQL in cloud environments such as Google Vertex AI, AWS SageMaker, or Azure AI Services.

Architect and operationalize evaluation strategies including A/B testing, metrics tracking, drift detection, and compliance with AI governance and regulatory requirements relevant to insurance.

Proven experience with Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn), strong SQL skills, and familiarity with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.

Demonstrable end-to-end modeling lifecycle experience including experiment design, production monitoring, and validation of AI and BI solutions.

Experience designing and deploying conversational AI and Generative AI solutions involving NLP, document parsing, and RAG pipelines.

Foundational knowledge of insurance industry processes and regulatory environment, with ability to implement compliant AI solutions.

Senior technical leader with demonstrated ownership of operational AI/ML solutions in cloud-based enterprise environments.

Strong domain expertise blending advanced machine learning, NLP, and Generative AI applied specifically to insurance data and workflows.

Experienced in strategic communication, capable of bridging technical designs and business outcomes within regulated industries.
