Principal Software Engineer - Solution Engineering – Customer Solution Validation

Lead solution validation efforts for customer networking deployments ensuring operational readiness and customer satisfaction.

Architect and develop scalable automation frameworks integrated into CI/CD pipelines to enhance quality engineering and reduce operational costs.

Provide technical leadership across engineering teams influencing design, quality practices, and delivering cross-functional initiatives to improve product reliability and innovation.

12+ years of industry experience in software engineering, automation, systems, and networking.

Expert programming skills in Python, Go, or C++ with extensive experience building automation and quality engineering ecosystems.

Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX systems, distributed systems validation, and multi-vendor networking environments including service provider and cloud deployments.

Onsite work requirement primarily from an HPE office location.

Advanced expertise in networking protocols (Layer 2/3, MPLS, EVPN, TCP/IP) and data center technologies demonstrated through practical solution validation roles.

Proven track record influencing technical direction, mentoring engineers, and driving automation initiatives in complex multi-component systems.

Experience with observability platforms, network operating systems, and use of AI-assisted engineering tools to improve automation and diagnostics.
