Lead Engineer

Lead design, implementation, testing, and delivery of Azure-based data platform solutions using services like Fabric, Purview, Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Databricks, and Blob Storage.

Own and oversee DevOps and CI/CD processes and build secure, efficient, and high-performance data pipelines that meet business requirements.

Lead and mentor a team of developers and collaborate with stakeholders across data engineering, analytics, and business teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-quality data solutions.

10+ years IT experience with 5+ years in Data Platforms in Financial Services and Azure PaaS (Fabric, Purview, ADF, Data Lake Storage).

Strong skills in Azure services including Fabric, Microsoft Purview, Databricks, Data Factory, Azure Monitor, ADLS, Azure Functions, and Container Apps.

Proficiency in data processing languages such as SQL and Python; PySpark knowledge is a bonus.

Certifications preferred: Azure DP-203 (Data Engineering) and DP-900 (Azure Fundamentals).

Experienced in leading and mentoring technical teams in cloud data platform projects within financial services.

Demonstrates strong ownership of full software development life cycle including coding, design, testing, and deployment in Azure cloud environments.

Comfortable working in agile, multi-location teams and driving adoption of best practices for security, performance, and scalable data architecture.
