Design, build, and maintain high-revenue backend Java microservices for lodging booking, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
Lead migration from legacy monolithic systems and stored procedures to Spring Boot-based microservices, including API design and data modeling.
Own end-to-end service lifecycle in production including deployment, monitoring, incident resolution, and integrating AI/ML-enabled tools to improve development and operations.
Minimum Requirements
6+ years professional experience in backend software development using Java in production.
Experience with backend service design including system design, API contracts, and RDBMS data modeling.
Practical exposure to at least one major cloud platform (preferably AWS) and use of monitoring/logging tools such as Datadog or Splunk.
Familiarity with AI-driven systems and applying AI/ML concepts in backend development, testing, or operations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in modernizing legacy monolithic systems into microservice architectures using Spring Boot.
Strong RDBMS skills beyond CRUD, including performance tuning and migrating stored procedures to service layers.
Demonstrated ability to operate large-scale, business-critical backend cloud systems with a focus on operational excellence and reliability, leveraging AI-augmented development or operations tools.
