Own daily margin call processing including calculation and sending for banks and fund clients involving cash and securities.
Reconcile collateral balances and lead investigation and resolution of discrepancies and fails, acting as main escalation point.
Generate client and internal reports and manage portfolio reconciliations, interest processing, substitutions, and transformation initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
Experience Required: Experience in collateral management, finance, custody, OTC markets or derivatives instruments is required.
Education: Graduate degree in Finance or Commerce (B.Com, BBM/BBA). MBA (Finance), M.Com or equivalent preferred.
Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook; knowledge of MS Access, VBA, Macros, SQL preferred.
Certifications: NCFM / CISI certification preferred; strong English communication skills mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in collateral management focusing on margin call processing and settlement workflows with institutional banking/fund clients.
Comfortable handling reconciliations and discrepancy investigations with escalation responsibilities within a finance or custody environment.
Technically capable with advanced Excel and database querying skills (MS Access, VBA, SQL) and able to communicate effectively with clients/internal stakeholders.
