Sr Lead - Cloud Data Engg

Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, high-performance cloud-based data platforms supporting analytics, ML, and enterprise needs.

Optimize data solutions for performance, cost, reliability, and compliance; manage operational health including monitoring, CI/CD pipelines, and disaster recovery.

Collaborate with data scientists, architects, and stakeholders; lead adoption of cloud data architectures and mentor junior engineers.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).

8+ years in data engineering, cloud engineering, or platform engineering; 13+ years total technology infrastructure work experience.

Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms and big data frameworks like Spark, Databricks.

Proficiency in Terraform, SQL, Python/Java/Scala, and experience with data pipeline tools (Apache Airflow, dbt, Kafka).

Experienced with cloud-native data platforms like Snowflake and Databricks; skilled in GitHub Terraform pipelines and cloud object management.

Strong background in AI/ML data pipelines, feature engineering, and regulated environments (financial services, healthcare).

Technical influencer capable of mentoring, collaborating across functions, and driving scalable, cost-effective cloud data platform solutions.
