About This Role
- Lead design and development of scalable Java microservices using Spring Boot 3.x and Spring Cloud, including architectural decisions and code quality.
- Implement and optimize RESTful APIs on Java 17 and manage event-driven systems with Apache Kafka for reliable messaging.
- Deploy and operate services on AWS EKS and manage infrastructure components like RDS/MySQL, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, while ensuring CI/CD, observability, and security practices.
Minimum Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience building production Java microservices.
- Proficiency in Java 17, Spring Boot 3.x, Spring Cloud, REST API design, Apache Kafka, AWS EKS, Helm, MySQL, DynamoDB, JPA/Hibernate, and Flyway migrations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or closely related field.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Developer/Architect or Oracle Certified Professional Java SE are desired but not mandatory.

- Experienced in managing end-to-end microservices architecture and cloud deployment on AWS EKS with infrastructure management.
- Skilled in integrating complex enterprise systems like Salesforce, Magento, and payment gateways within microservice architectures.
- Able to lead teams by mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and enforcing secure-by-default and continuous improvement development practices.
