Fund Accounting Analyst 1 - C09 - GURUGRAM

Own preparation and review of financial statements and regulatory reports (Balance Sheet, P&L, Schedule of Investment, cash flows, Notes) compliant with IFRS, US GAAP, Lux GAAP, and Irish GAAP.

Act as subject matter expert for fund accounting processes involving derivatives, equities, fixed income securities, and support process documentation and SOP creation.

Assist in performance data management, conduct process trainings, ensure SLA adherence, and improve process quality including support for process set-up or migration from onshore.

4-6 years of work experience in Fund Accounting or Financial Reporting for hedge funds or mutual funds.

Bachelor or Master degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting; additional professional qualifications like CA, CFA, CPA are advantageous but not mandatory.

Strong knowledge of capital markets including derivatives, equities, fixed income securities and accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP, Lux GAAP, Irish GAAP).

Willingness to work in shifts and flexible hours as per process needs; prior experience in BPO/captive environments for capital markets back office processes is preferred.

Experienced in middle office processing, financial reporting, and fund accounting within hedge fund or mutual fund domains.

Comfortable working with multiple GAAPs and regulatory frameworks, able to act as team SME and train newer members.

Has operated in shift-based environments with exposure to process improvement and cross-border process migration.
