Manage and maintain z/OS mainframe systems including installation, upgrades, customization, and performance tuning in multi-CPU and Sysplex environments.
Provide technical leadership by overseeing problem resolution, root cause analysis, and disaster recovery planning and testing.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to recommend modernization options, support ISV products, and ensure security compliance and operational effectiveness.
Minimum Requirements
6+ years of z/OS system programming experience covering work, user, journal, and performance management.
Experience with SMP/E, REXX, Assembler scripting, JCL, VTAM/TCPIP, WLM, RMF, HCD, ISV products, BRMS, tape management, disk/storage administration, and z/OSMF/ZOWE.
Experience operating in multi-CPU and Sysplex settings applying maintenance updates and product PTFs.
Work Experience Required: 6+ years in z/OS system programming. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant field preferred but not mandatory.
