Develop, execute, and automate comprehensive test plans for Layer 2/Layer 3 networking protocols based on detailed feature requirements.
Design and enhance test automation frameworks and create automated test scripts using Python PyTest and Robot Framework to improve test coverage and efficiency.
Utilize networking test equipment (Spirent, Ixia) including automation, troubleshoot complex issues during testing, and handle critical customer queries and escalations.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
1-3 years of relevant work experience in protocol testing for networking equipment.
In-depth knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking protocols and fundamentals, including switches, routers, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and multicast technologies.
Ability to work onsite primarily from an HPE office as this role is designated onsite.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Proficient in developing and automating network protocol tests with hands-on experience in Python PyTest and Robot Framework.
Experienced with commercial network test equipment such as Spirent and Ixia, including automation capabilities.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to manage escalations with a focus on protocol-level network testing and validation.
