Automation QA - Associate Consultant

Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts and regression suites based on functional and technical requirements for Guidewire implementation projects.

Manage defect identification, documentation using JIRA, triage participation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers and product owners.

Support sprint-level quality activities including planning, status reporting, and continuous improvement of testing and automation practices under guidance.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related discipline.

1–3 years of experience in software quality assurance, test automation, or a related field.

Basic knowledge of software testing life cycle, test-case design, defect management, regression testing, and at least one programming/scripting language (Java, JavaScript, Python, or Gosu).

Experience with test management or defect tracking tools such as JIRA.

Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or REST Assured and basic API, web application testing, and SQL.

Comfortable working in Agile, sprint-based environments with coordination across APAC and global distributed teams.

Exposure or willingness to learn Guidewire insurance products and associated implementation and testing practices.
