About This Role
- Lead design, development, and delivery of scalable, maintainable software solutions for platform capabilities across cloud and on-prem environments.
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration including front-office developers and internal teams to align platform development with business and technical objectives.
- Provide engineering leadership by guiding a small team, managing technology strategy, risk, controls, and driving continuous improvement of platform services.
Minimum Requirements
- Proven software/data engineering experience, ideally in platform or infrastructure roles.
- Strong hands-on programming skills in Python; familiarity with Java is a plus.
- Deep experience with AWS services such as S3, Glue, Kinesis, Lambda, ECS, IAM, KMS, API Gateway, Step Functions, MSK, CloudFormation.
- Location: Role based in Pune, India office.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing or guiding small engineering teams with hands-on leadership style in platform development.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS) and on-prem Hadoop/Kubernetes environments.
- Familiarity or prior exposure to financial services data needs and front-office developer workflows is a significant advantage.
