Lead Software Engineer

Provide technical leadership and direction for complex, business-critical software projects within the Merch Execution portfolio.

Lead design, development, and deployment of integrated, scalable, and maintainable enterprise software solutions across backend, frontend, and middleware components.

Drive operational excellence including disaster recovery, performance testing, security compliance, and mentoring engineering teams on standards and best practices.

9 years of software development or related experience.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, CIS, or related field (or equivalent experience).

7 years working with Java and Springboot tech stack; hands-on experience with ReactJS and Typescript.

At least 4 years of experience leading teams and 6 years in systems analysis and defining technical requirements for complex solutions.

Experienced technical lead capable of guiding multi-technology full stack projects in an agile environment.

Strong background in enterprise application architecture, including modern practices like AI-enabled SDLC automation and agentic workflow design.

Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, influence adoption of engineering standards, and handle high-complexity problem solving across multiple applications.
