Senior Engineer Data Foundry - Compliance Ops

Build and scale user-facing data applications and custom widgets on a modern data platform to support compliance digitization and automation.

Own full lifecycle development from external data ingestion, transformation, ontology design to production-grade compliance applications.

Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions, establish best practices for data quality, monitoring, and reusable pipeline and modeling patterns.

2-4 year college degree or equivalent experience.

4-8+ years of experience in data engineering, backend engineering, or related roles.

Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience building production-grade data pipelines and integrating external APIs.

Experience building user-facing data tools, applications, or dashboards; work experience required explicitly stated as 4-8+ years.

Experience with Palantir Foundry platform components including Code Repos, Transforms, Ontology, and Workshop applications.

Ability to bridge data engineering and frontend/application development, focusing on interactive, operational tools, not just dashboards.

Background in financial services, compliance, or regulated environments is preferred but not mandatory.
