Software Engineer III - Python and React

Design and develop advanced features for data visualization and application building using natural language prompts, enhancing user accessibility and interaction.

Automate Python and Excel code generation to streamline data retrieval and improve operational efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including researchers, analysts, and portfolio managers to build, deploy, and maintain data-driven applications on the platform.

3+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.

Strong Python development skills including design, debugging, testing, packaging, and deployment.

Experience with front-end development using React (ideally with TypeScript) and building web applications and APIs using modern frameworks.

Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and AWS services (e.g., S3, ECS, Lambda, Athena) and databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

Experienced in leveraging AI-assisted software development tools critically for coding, testing, and documentation within enterprise environments.

Comfortable working in agile delivery environments and applying software development best practices (CI/CD, source control, automated testing).

Capable of engaging directly with end users and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
