Develop, implement, and debug HVDC converter control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink following GE Vernova modeling standards.
Design and validate control system functions via unit tests, model-in-the-loop, and software-in-the-loop testing including automated test harnesses.
Manage integration of control software including code generation, version control (GitHub), and collaboration within agile teams using JIRA.
Minimum Requirements
Master's degree in Electrical, Control, or Software Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years experience in model-based control system design with MATLAB/Simulink.
Proven experience with HVDC systems or power electronics control, ideally with LCC (CSC) technology.
Mandatory skills: MATLAB Embedded Coder or TargetLink code generation, version control with Git/GitHub, and agile development using JIRA.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in HVDC control system development, especially power and reactive power control and protection methods.
Strong analytical skills for debugging and integrating complex control models within real-time control platforms.
Comfortable working in medium to large agile teams with structured workflows involving peer reviews and version management.
