Senior Systems Engineer - RabbitMQ administrator

Administer and support RabbitMQ environments, including upgrades, patching, maintenance, and troubleshooting production issues related to connectivity, queues, clusters, memory, and disk.

Perform root cause analysis and recommend preventive actions for RabbitMQ node failures, queue backlogs, cluster synchronization, memory/disk alarms, SSL/certificate issues, and performance problems.

Coordinate with multiple application and support teams to gather technical requirements and ensure high availability, clustering, security (SSL/TLS), and integration with load balancers.

5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in RabbitMQ administration (Exchanges, Queues, Bindings, Routing Keys, VHosts, Users, Permissions).

Experience with RabbitMQ upgrades, patching, production support, and troubleshooting in a Linux/Windows environment.

Basic Linux administration and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancer).

Degree in BE/B.Tech/MCA or equivalent.

Deep familiarity with RabbitMQ versions 3.x and 4.x and experience handling complex operational issues in a critical banking environment requiring quick resolution.

Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in application support and development to deliver stable messaging infrastructure.

Working knowledge of monitoring tools (Grafana, Zabbix, Elastic Search), scripting/automation, and knowledge of WMQ administration is a plus.
