Own end-to-end performance engineering for Java-based applications on cloud or on-prem environments, ensuring systems scale, stay stable, and perform predictably.
Develop automation utilities/scripts and skeleton/stub components to support integration and performance testing processes.
Analyze performance test results, prepare reports, identify defects, and mentor team members on performance testing activities.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 1 year experience as Performance Tester/Engineer on Java applications deployed on-prem or cloud.
Proficiency with JMeter or similar tools (Gatling/k6), APM tools, log/profiling analysis, Linux performance commands, and shell scripting.
Understanding of Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) and performance certification for Java applications.
Work Experience Required: At least 1 year as Performance Tester/Engineer.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Strong technical expertise in performance testing, including thread dump, GC logs, and heap dump analysis.
Experience with application monitoring tools like Telegraph, Influx, Grafana and analyzing JVM metrics.
Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure or other), REST APIs, Microservices architecture, and scripting for automation.
