Own local strategic sourcing and procurement strategy for indirect commodities including services and goods, ensuring efficient and economical purchasing.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and long-term contracts with strategic suppliers while managing supplier relationships and performance to meet cost, availability, and quality goals.
Collaborate closely with global commodity managers to implement global sourcing strategies and maintain data integrity for suppliers, parts, and purchase orders.
Minimum Requirements
8 to 10 years of experience with at least 8 years in strategic procurement management specifically in indirect procurement commodities.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical) with MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain/Business Management OR M.Com with MBA in Finance & Supply Chain.
Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Location: Pune, India; Moderate travel required.
