Principal Engineering Program Manager

Lead and manage multi-functional engineering programs for multiple products or service offerings within a Global Business Unit, ensuring alignment with unit strategy and ownership of program profit and loss.

Direct development of program strategy, budgets, resource allocation, and manage activities of internal and external teams and partners to complete programs on schedule and within budget.

Communicate program progress and issues to stakeholders, drive continuous improvement through product, process, or business practice changes, and mentor less-experienced staff in program management excellence.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.

Typically 10+ years of relevant experience including managing cross-business unit programs and matrixed teams.

PMP/PMI certification preferred but not mandatory.

Role is onsite with expectation to primarily work from an HPE office in India.

Experienced in managing complex, multi-project engineering or manufacturing programs with measurable business impact such as cost reduction or time-to-market improvement.

Strong business acumen with ability to influence and negotiate at business unit levels and manage program profit and loss responsibility.

Skilled in developing and integrating innovative engineering, technical, or manufacturing processes within global teams and cross-functional environments.
