Design, develop, implement, and document high-performance, scalable applications for Walmart International focused on supply chain management and customer experience.
Drive technical design decisions and collaborate with architects, product management, and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions within architectural guidelines ensuring quality, cost, and delivery targets.
Own the end-to-end development and design of cloud-based microservices using Java and relevant frameworks, leveraging CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Minimum Requirements
11+ years of experience in design and development of highly-scalable applications and platform development.
Strong hands-on expertise in Java (SpringBoot, Dropwizard or equivalent), Microservices, RESTful webservices, Cloud and Microservice architectures, container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps tools such as Git, Maven, Jenkins; demonstrated end-to-end ownership of at least one cloud-based project.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with minimum 4 years experience OR 6 years experience without degree; role is based in Bangalore, India (onsite requirement).
