Director, Commercial Analytics - Obesity

Lead and build commercial analytics capabilities for Amgen's global obesity business focused on the U.S. market to inform strategy, sales execution, customer engagement, payer/pricing decisions, and growth priorities.

Translate complex, ambiguous business questions into scalable analyses, decision frameworks, and reusable insight products that enable confident resource allocation and execution gap identification.

Own the commercial analytics operating model, including intake, prioritization, quality, delivery cadence, and capability building of an India-based team, ensuring global recognition for judgment, reliability, and measurable business impact.

Doctorate degree OR Master's degree OR Bachelor's degree with 18+ years of relevant experience.

Substantial experience in commercial analytics or related functions within pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences.

Strong understanding of U.S. pharmaceutical commercialization, selling models, field execution, and healthcare data ecosystems used for commercial decision-making.

Work Experience Required: Minimum 18+ years of relevant experience.

Experienced in commercial analytics with deep expertise across product strategy, launch analytics, sales force effectiveness, HCP/account analytics, and payer/pricing analysis in pharmaceutical or life sciences sectors.

Proven ability to deliver executive-level communication and influence senior stakeholders globally, balancing practical delivery with high analytical standards.

Strong collaborator with technology, data science, and data engineering teams to develop scalable, automated analytics solutions and reusable insight products in a complex global environment.
