Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable full stack applications within the Quantitative Research team supporting equity trading engines globally.
Collaborate with product owners and analysts to translate business requirements into technical user stories and deliver clean, maintainable code for backend and frontend systems.
Maintain APIs, integrate with databases and external systems, participate in Agile ceremonies, and continuously improve development processes and system architectures.
Minimum Requirements
Engineering degree preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology.
5+ years of experience in building distributed systems using Agile methodologies.
Strong expertise in Java core and Spring frameworks (including spring-boot) and API design and maintenance.
Experience working with high volume databases such as Sybase or KDB+, and understanding of microservice architecture, secure coding, CI-CD, Git, and DevOps tools.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in end-to-end software development lifecycle for backend and/or data engineering pipelines in financial services or similar regulated environment.
Able to handle working hours aligned with US time zone (2:00 PM to 10:00 PM local Mumbai time).
Comfortable working with large-scale, global data systems and integrating complex APIs with strong problem-solving under pressure.
