Senior Engineer - Solution Engineering – Customer Solution Validation

Develop and lead solution validation strategies for complex customer networking deployments, ensuring operational readiness and scalability.

Drive automation and quality engineering initiatives, including designing scalable automation frameworks integrated with CI/CD pipelines to enhance validation and reduce costs.

Provide technical expertise and leadership across cross-functional teams, including mentoring engineers and influencing engineering quality practices and product testability.

Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or C++, with experience in automation frameworks and CI/CD integration.

Deep knowledge of Linux/UNIX systems, multi-vendor networking configuration and validation, performance testing tools (e.g., Ixia, Spirent).

Expertise in system-level, multi-feature validation, root-cause analysis, and troubleshooting complex multi-component distributed systems.

Work Experience Required: Preferred 10+ years of industry experience; role is onsite at HPE office.

Experienced in advanced enterprise and service provider networking technologies including Layer 2/3, TCP/IP, MPLS, EVPN, and data center technologies.

Proven technical leadership with history of solving complex problems, mentoring engineers, and collaborating across engineering and customer teams.

Familiar with network OS, cloud infrastructure, observability platforms, and leveraging AI-assisted automation and diagnostics tools.
