Senior Manager

Lead and contribute to design and development of Java microservices for production environments using Java 17+, Spring Boot/Spring Cloud.

Manage and improve distributed systems and transactional data patterns with Kafka integration and cloud-native deployments on Kubernetes/AWS/Azure/GCP.

Ensure software quality through comprehensive testing (unit, integration, E2E, performance) and observability practices, while reviewing architectural/vendor deliverables and guiding remediation.

8-12+ years professional software development experience; 5+ years in Java microservices production development.

Strong expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot/Spring Cloud, Gradle/Maven, REST/JSON, Kafka (streams, schema registry, consumer groups).

Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) for production workloads including networking and service mesh.

Testing expertise across unit, contract, integration, E2E, performance and familiarity with security protocols like OAuth2/OIDC/JWT and vulnerability remediation.

Experienced in building scalable, resilient distributed microservices operating at enterprise scale with strong expertise in transactional data patterns and event-driven architecture.

Comfortable working with cloud-native infrastructure and observability tools, with ability to review and challenge architectural designs.

Skilled in complex testing strategies and security practices, able to lead quality and reliability improvements for financial services software.
