Job Description
Structured overview of role & requirementsAbout This Role
Develop and correlate advanced power estimation models and tools for NVIDIA chips including GPUs and SOCs under various product use cases.
Analyze chip configurations and process technologies to optimize power and performance, incorporating measured silicon data for calibration.
Collaborate across architecture, design, synthesis, timing, circuit, and post-silicon teams to enhance power estimation infrastructure and contribute to performance per watt improvements.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s (B.Tech.) or Master’s (M.Tech.) degree.
1+ years of experience in power/performance estimation and optimization techniques.
Strong knowledge of transistor-level leakage and dynamic power characteristics, and familiarity with low power design techniques (multi VT, clock gating, power gating, DVFS).
Proficiency in programming with Python and object-oriented programming and design.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience in power analysis methodologies and flows with ability to develop and calibrate complex power models.
Familiarity with power measurement equipment (e.g., scope/DAQ) and board-level power issue analysis is a plus.
Exposure to power analysis EDA tools like PTPX/EPS and working in a collaborative cross-functional engineering environment.
