Senior Software Development Engineer

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain backend software for flight search filters, ranking systems, and the Flights Central Tool to deliver scalable, reliable traveler experiences.

Own features/components end-to-end including design, implementation, testing, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement in a high-scale environment.

Collaborate cross-functionally and safely integrate AI/ML-enabled solutions to improve flight offer selection and filtering with measurable operational impact.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

8+ years of relevant professional software development experience.

Proven experience owning features or components through full lifecycle including design, deployment, and operational support.

Proficiency in backend software development, API design, data modeling, automated testing, debugging, and resilient system design.

Senior-level engineer with deep backend experience delivering high-scale, reliable, and maintainable flight search or similar consumer-facing systems.

Experienced in integrating AI/ML features into production software with attention to reliability, governance, and measurable outcomes.

Able to contribute across multiple technical domains, making data-driven design and architecture decisions in a collaborative team environment.
