Lead design, development, deployment, and support of full-stack Java microservices-based applications with modern UI frameworks and cloud-native technologies.
Drive technical decisions, coding standards, code reviews, and mentor engineering teams to ensure high-quality delivery and engineering best practices.
Collaborate with global product, architecture, and business stakeholders while driving CI/CD, DevOps, security, observability, and overall technical delivery and risk management.
Minimum Requirements
12-15 years of software engineering experience, with minimum 3 years in technical or team leadership roles.
Strong hands-on expertise in Java (11/17+), Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Microservices architecture, REST APIs, Angular or React, SQL and NoSQL databases.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools for code generation, testing, documentation, and engineering productivity.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Senior engineering leader with extensive experience in enterprise-grade, cloud-native Java full-stack development and microservices architectures.
Experienced in complex API design including BFF patterns, service-to-service communication, caching, security, and fault tolerance in distributed systems.
Prior experience or strong interest in insurance/financial services domain and working with globally distributed teams; knowledge of AI and generative AI enterprise solutions is a plus.
