Lead development and maintenance of complex backend systems focusing on GraphQL, AWS (Glue, Lambda, pySpark), Node.js, RESTful APIs, and enterprise integrations.
Define scalable and extensible system architecture and solution designs, including enterprise integrations and digital card solutions on mobile and web platforms within AWS Cloud.
Own code quality through testing and automation, collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, mentor junior developers, and contribute to technical hiring and process improvements.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited university.
At least 5 years of experience designing, developing, and delivering backend applications using GraphQL, AWS (Glue/Lambda/S3/Athena, DynamoDB), Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, RESTful APIs.
At least 5 years of experience building internet-facing applications and working with cloud environments (preferably AWS) or OpenShift.
Proficiency in object-oriented programming, software engineering, parallel programming, databases, and API integration with front-end or mobile frameworks.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced technical leader comfortable making principled decisions and providing constructive pushback to peers and superiors.
Strong collaborator with experience working in multi-disciplinary teams including Product Owners, Designers, and DevOps.
Candidate with background or interest in financial services and credit card domain or experience with Kubernetes deployments is preferable but not mandatory.
