Deputy/Assistant Manager - Buyer (Procurement)

Own end-to-end Procurement-to-Pay process for spares, services, MRO, raw materials, and Capex for Harsco Metal and Minerals.

Establish and manage contracts and agreements with OEM suppliers and local service providers, ensuring cost benchmarking and savings achievement.

Coordinate across internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth supply chain operations, including import procedures and invoice resolution.

Minimum 10 years of relevant purchase and commercial experience, preferably in continuous process industry.

Experience handling procurement for mining, material handling, earth moving, and mobile equipment & parts independently.

Procurement category spend responsibility of not less than Rs 6 Cr per year.

B.Tech/BE in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related field; MBA preferred but not compulsory.

Experienced in procurement within heavy industries, especially mining and material handling sectors, managing large spend categories independently.

Skilled in contract negotiation, vendor management, and procurement policies adherence in a continuous process manufacturing environment.

Able to handle technical and commercial procurement aspects, including imports, clearing & forwarding, and legal compliance.
