Sr Principal Systems/Software Engineer

Own development of organization-wide software system architectures, strategies, and methodologies across multiple platforms within the Global Business Unit.

Lead technical decisions and innovations influencing product quality, risk mitigation, and alignment with technology roadmaps by evaluating new technologies and outsourced partnerships.

Provide technical leadership and mentoring internally, act as an authority on software system design, and contribute externally through patents and thought leadership.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

Typically 12+ years of professional experience in software engineering.

Proven experience architecting, designing, and developing innovative software system design tools and scalable software systems across multiple platform types.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid with requirement to work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

Experienced leader in software system architecture with a track record of technical impact and innovation evidenced by patents and deployed solutions.

Strategic thinker capable of influencing executive-level decisions and aligning technology with business value and future customer needs.

Strong communicator able to convey complex product architectures and lead cross-functional teams across global business units.
