Lead and oversee all shared services functions for the India Country Office including finance, accounting, contracts and grants management, procurement, HR, travel, administration, and IT.
Ensure compliance with Indian legislation and donor regulations while managing financial controls, audits, and reporting to achieve financial performance objectives.
Represent the organization externally to stakeholders including donors, government agencies, vendors, and sub-grantees and contribute to strategic planning as a senior leadership team member.
Minimum Requirements
Master’s degree in finance, accounting, commerce, business administration, or related field.
Minimum 10+ years of progressive senior leadership experience in finance management, procurement, and grants management, specifically for donor-funded programs and INGOs.
Experience working with US government and other funders’ rules, regulations, and requirements.
Work Experience Required: 10+ years in relevant senior leadership roles.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced senior manager with deep understanding of donor-funded programs and INGO financial operations, including procurement and grant management.
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across finance, HR, procurement, and administration in complex, compliance-heavy environments.
Strong collaborator able to coordinate with regional and global offices and engage with multiple stakeholders including government, donors, and auditors.
