Benefits Operations Analyst, EDI

Manage end-to-end setup and ongoing support of EDI/API implementations for client benefits enrollment, including file mapping, testing, and error resolution.

Serve as main contact with insurance carriers, customers, and brokers to resolve transaction issues and ensure smooth benefits data exchange.

Own productivity metrics and SLA adherence related to EDI/API transactions, identifying and addressing process gaps to improve operations.

3+ years experience with EDI file transmissions (especially 834 files) and enrollment/member eligibility management.

Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.

Client service experience and ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in-office at least three days per week if located near a Rippling office (office-based work essential).

Experienced operations analyst with deep knowledge of benefits enrollment data interchange (EDI/API) processes and insurance carrier integration.

Effective coordinator between technical teams, carriers, brokers, and clients to resolve complex operational issues.

Proficient in managing technical transactions in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment supporting large-scale benefits platforms.
