Data Analytics Engineer I, Tech - Data

Optimize data-resource utilization and data quality for Uber Customer Support Data.

Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and products supporting analytics, reporting, and machine learning.

Develop and standardize core business metrics and manage CommOps data infrastructure to ensure reliability and efficiency.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience.

Minimum 2 years technical experience in data-focused roles like analytics, business intelligence, engineering, or data science.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or similar and experience with data-processing frameworks like Spark or Hive.

Knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and data warehousing concepts; willingness to spend at least 50% time in-office unless fully remote approved.

Experienced working cross-functionally with product engineers, data scientists, and analysts to implement scalable data solutions.

Skilled in developing batch and real-time workflows handling large datasets with focus on data quality, timeliness, and SLA adherence.

Comfortable improving data engineering tools, processes, and documentation in a complex, evolving environment.
