Perform manual journal entries including accruals and reclasses, and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
Conduct balance sheet reconciliations with documentation and resolve open items, maintaining GL and sub-ledger integrity aligned to US GAAP and IFRS standards.
Collaborate with global stakeholders to support financial reporting, audit processes, and continuous improvement initiatives within the GCC environment.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 1+ years experience in Record to Report (R2R) or General Accounting.
Education required: B.Com, M.Com, MBA (Finance), or CA Inter qualification.
Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA, including knowledge of SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration.
Must understand and apply accounting standards US GAAP ASC 360, ASC 842, IFRS 16, and IAS 16.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Practitioner familiar with global lease accounting and fixed asset management under US GAAP and IFRS standards.
Experienced working with SAP ECC and S/4HANA in financial accounting contexts, especially R2R processes.
Capable of working effectively with global, cross-time zone teams and managing stakeholder communications and issue resolution in a GCC environment.
