Own end-to-end administration and lifecycle management of critical PostgreSQL environments.
Design and operate High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) architectures using Patroni, etcd, Pacemaker, Corosync, and related technologies.
Develop and maintain automation for installer and deployment scripts, monitor HA telemetry, and execute failover drills to ensure operational resilience.
Minimum Requirements
6-8 years of experience as an Enterprise Database Administrator with extensive PostgreSQL expertise.
Hands-on experience with shared-storage clusters (Pacemaker, Corosync, STONITH) and streaming replication HA (Patroni, etcd) for single- and multi-site environments.
Strong proficiency in bash scripting and modifying installer frameworks without breaking dependent processes.
Working knowledge of SAN/NAS architectures, MPIO multipathing, WWID tracking, and out-of-band server management (IPMI, iLO, iDRAC).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in independently authoring comprehensive High Level Design (HLD) documents and securing architecture sign-off.
Deep understanding of database internals, including MVCC, vacuuming, and WAL management, matching complex enterprise needs.
Proven ability to collaborate with infrastructure teams and defend technical strategies across cross-functional engineering teams.
