Own the end-to-end performance engineering lifecycle including workload modeling, scripting, test execution, analysis, and tuning recommendations.
Design and execute various performance tests (load, stress, spike, endurance, scalability) using JMeter or LoadRunner, including API/web service and database-level validation.
Analyze performance test results to identify bottlenecks and collaborate with engineers for resolution, and contribute to capacity planning and performance sign-off for releases.
Minimum Requirements
7+ years of overall QA/testing experience with at least 3 years specifically in performance testing.
Hands-on experience with JMeter and/or LoadRunner on enterprise applications.
Proficient in performance testing concepts and scripting for HTTP/REST/SOAP services, with SQL knowledge for backend validation.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in managing the full performance testing lifecycle from requirements to reporting in enterprise environments.
Capable of debugging, troubleshooting, and performing log analysis to pinpoint performance issues.
Familiarity with performance testing in complex systems, including some exposure to cloud/containerized environments and CI/CD integration (preferred but not mandatory).
