Operate, monitor, and maintain Astronomer's managed Airflow platform ensuring availability and reliability of cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters.
Respond to incidents from customers or monitoring systems; permanently resolve or monitor issues to improve product reliability.
Engage directly with customers across industries and cloud providers to ensure success using Astronomer products, meeting SLAs and providing guidance to production.
Minimum Requirements
3+ years experience with large, complex cloud infrastructures operating at scale.
2+ years experience with Kubernetes.
Experience managing production distributed systems on major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Strong Linux, networking, observability tools experience, and Python scripting.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in handling customer-facing technical issues and triaging in production cloud environments.
Skilled in infrastructure reliability and automation within modern cloud native, distributed systems.
Has DevOps/CI/CD background and familiarity with monitoring, on-call support, and continuous improvement processes.
