Senior Data Engineer - Vice President - Python Development

Design and build data architecture and production-grade Python pipelines for Generative AI products handling billions of records across Markets.

Develop and optimize data storage, serving layers, and query performance focusing on low-latency access for AI and application services.

Own platform architecture, engineering standards, data quality controls, operational practices, and collaborate with AI engineers and product teams.

Extensive hands-on experience in data engineering or software engineering, with proven delivery of large-scale data platforms.

Deep practical expertise in Python, strong SQL skills with experience in PostgreSQL, data modelling, query optimization, and database tuning.

Experience with scalable data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Dask), ETL/ELT architecture, automated data quality and operational monitoring.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant quantitative discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Experienced in designing and delivering robust, low-latency data platforms supporting production AI applications, preferably in financial/Markets domain.

Strong engineering judgement with ability to make pragmatic technical choices, influence architecture and product technical direction from early stage.

Skilled in integrating complex datasets, ensuring data governance/security, and collaborating cross-functionally with AI and software engineering teams.
