Job Description
Structured overview of role & requirementsAbout This Role
Own and develop RZR's config-driven playable ads engine including mechanic library, genre-specific templates, packaging pipeline, and network adapters.
Ensure single-file, optimized, and standards-compliant playable ad builds that run across multiple ad exchanges with telemetry for each impression.
Collaborate closely with design and DSP teams on editor tooling, live preview, campaign handoff, and performance data integration.
Minimum Requirements
4–6 years in frontend or game engineering with at least 3 years shipping playable ads or HTML5 mini-games in production.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5 Canvas/WebGL, and familiarity with lightweight game engines like PixiJS or Phaser.
Demonstrable experience with playable ad specs and SDKs (e.g., MRAID, ironSource, AppLovin) including packaging and optimizing within size/runtime constraints.
Work Setup: Hybrid role based in Bangalore with on-site presence Monday, Tuesday, and Friday.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in building reusable, data-driven playable ad components rather than one-off creatives, comfortable with complex build and optimization tooling.
Able to handle stringent engineering constraints such as single-file compression, sandboxed execution without network calls, and multi-orientation support from a single configuration.
Enjoys owning an entire product area (playable engine and pipeline) with direct impact on live campaigns and measurable performance data.
