Design, develop, and support NAS file protocol and storage system solutions, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis across OS, storage, networking, and protocol layers.
Develop and maintain low-level utilities and components in C and C++, and improve performance, reliability, and automation of storage and file services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reproduce issues, validate data integrity, and document technical findings and design recommendations.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronics, or related field.
Approximately 15 years of experience in systems engineering, storage engineering, or protocol engineering.
Strong expertise in NAS file protocols such as SMB and NFS, and hands-on experience with C and C++ programming.
Experience with Linux/Unix OS, debugging, root cause analysis, system-level troubleshooting, and knowledge of networking fundamentals.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Deep technical knowledge of NAS file protocols (SMB/CIFS, NFSv3/NFSv4) and storage concepts, including performance tuning and stress testing.
Experienced in working in cross-functional product engineering teams and comfortable with distributed systems and cloud/hybrid storage environments.
Pragmatic problem solver with demonstrated ability to analyze complex system behavior across multiple domains and deliver reliable storage solutions.
