About This Role

Design and develop secure, scalable Java backend microservices using Spring Boot in an agile environment.

Deliver high-quality production code and maintain synchronous algorithms supporting trust and security functions.

Leverage enterprise-authorized AI coding tools and data insights to improve software quality, productivity, and system architecture.

Minimum Requirements

3+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification.

Advanced proficiency in Java (version 17 or 21+) and Spring Boot for scalable RESTful microservices.

Strong expertise with Kafka for event-driven architecture, including topic design and consumer groups.

Hands-on experience with AWS data lake & ETL services (S3, Glue, EMR, Lambda, Step Functions), Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, and deploying on AWS EKS/ECS.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experienced in designing distributed systems focusing on scalability, resiliency, security, and performance.

Skilled at integrating AI-assisted software development tools and guiding peers on responsible AI usage in engineering workflows.

Familiar with container orchestration, event-driven architectures, and complex data processing pipelines in a secure, high-availability environment.
