Software Engineer II - Data Integration Platform (DIP) Ingestion

Build and operate scalable backend services and ingestion pipelines to collect data from third-party APIs and deliver it reliably to downstream systems.

Own complex features end to end, including clarifying requirements, proposing approaches, implementation, testing, launch, and production support with measurable outcomes.

Improve ingestion platform capabilities, data freshness, correctness, and reliability while participating in on-call rotations and root cause analysis of recurrent issues.

3+ years of software engineering experience with hands-on development of production backend services in Python.

Experience owning delivery of complex features from problem definition through to successful launch.

Strong fundamentals in backend design, APIs, data modeling, testing, debugging, and performance.

Experience operating production services using logs, metrics, alerts, and familiarity with cloud services and deployment (ideally AWS).

Demonstrated ability to take ownership of well-scoped backend engineering projects involving data integrations and ingestion pipelines.

Experience working with secure, scalable backend services in production, including use of monitoring and alerting to ensure data reliability.

Comfortable clarifying ambiguous requirements and collaborating asynchronously with cross-functional teams across time zones.
