Manager of Software Engineering

Lead multiple software engineering teams within the API Marketplace group at JPMorgan Chase, managing day-to-day implementation activities and ensuring compliance with business requirements and standards.

Drive adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices and SDLC/TLM automation to improve delivery speed, quality, and operational outcomes, with responsibility for secure handling and validation processes.

Manage stakeholder relationships and anticipate dependencies to deliver products and applications aligned with business and compliance needs.

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.

5+ years of applied software engineering experience.

Experience managing technologists and technology projects, including leading adoption of AI-assisted development tools.

Proficiency in full-stack development with Java, Spring, Hibernate, ReactJS, and AWS.

Experienced in managing multiple teams in a financial services technology environment with in-depth knowledge of the industry and IT systems.

Skilled in driving responsible AI adoption within engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, security, and governance considerations.

Familiar with enterprise SDLC processes and capable of engaging senior leadership and stakeholders effectively.
