Engineering Senior Manager

Lead multiple teams including subordinate managers and individual contributors in designing, developing, and managing systems software projects (operating systems, compilers, networking, utilities, databases, Internet tools).

Manage headcount, deliverables, schedules, budgets, and resources for multiple ongoing projects ensuring alignment with program and organizational roadmaps.

Engage with cross-functional teams and external partners including program managers, marketing, supply chain, technical leaders, and outsourced partners to communicate status, escalate issues, and influence strategic decisions.

First level university degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree preferred.

Typically 15+ years of related work experience including 5+ years in people management.

Experience managing 10+ direct reports across multi-department areas with significant business impact.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid with approximately 2 days per week onsite at HPE office.

Experienced in managing geographically distributed teams and outsourced partners with strong relationship and workforce management skills.

Strong leadership with advanced coaching, conflict resolution, and team building capabilities suited for large multi-department organizations.

Proven ability in strategic project management, risk and resource prioritization, and driving process improvements in software engineering environments.
