Principal Engineer - Data path - HPE Alletra Storage MP X10000 (Object Storage product development)

Lead design and development of software architectures for next-generation HPE Alletra Storage MP X10000 Object Storage products across multiple platforms.

Own end-to-end product technical leadership including technology evaluation, architecture innovation to prevent bottlenecks, and adherence to performance and quality standards.

Mentor and coach engineering teams while influencing executive decisions and integrating innovations aligned with the technology roadmap.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

15+ years in product development for storage/system engineering, with experience in early-stage or V1 product delivery in modern storage technologies such as Object or File storage.

Strong system programming skills in C/C++ including multi-threaded programming, data structures, and algorithms; deep knowledge of OS internals and debugging multi-threaded/clustered environments.

Hybrid work mode: average 2 days/week onsite at an HPE office.

Experienced in designing and developing software system architectures and tools for complex storage products (Object/File/Block storage) especially supporting modern AI or cloud use-cases.

Proven track record in leading technical innovation for storage subsystems including data-path, distributed systems, clustering, performance tuning, and storage protocols.

Strategic thinker capable of influencing executive leadership and managing multiple large-scale engineering initiatives with a focus on quality, performance, and operational excellence.
