Platform Engineer – Storage Product Platform Development

Lead technical design, development, and innovation for HPE's storage product platform across multiple platforms and organizations.

Own end-to-end product lifecycle activities including architecture, technology evaluation, and integration aligned with business value and technology roadmap.

Coach and mentor junior and mid-level developers; drive best practices and ensure compliance with development guidelines for high product quality.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

10+ years of experience in product development related to storage/system engineering.

Proven experience delivering early-stage products in modern storage technologies (Object/File/Cloud storage).

Strong programming skills in C/C++ with proficiency in data structures, algorithms, multi-threaded programming, and in-depth knowledge of OS internals.

Experienced leader capable of influencing executive business decisions and coordinating with outsourced development partners.

Strong domain expertise in storage product development including file, block, or object storage solutions, ideally with innovation patents or published solutions.

Technical expert with ability to architect complex distributed/multi-platform storage systems incorporating clustering, virtualization, replication, and performance tuning.
