Build and maintain scalable, reliable Kubernetes and AWS infrastructure with a focus on observability metrics, logs, and tracing.
Design, operate, and standardize a self-service observability platform (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenTelemetry) for internal engineering and external services.
Own telemetry, SLOs/SLIs, alerting tooling, and incident response support to reduce detection and resolution times.
Minimum Requirements
5+ years of experience in DevOps or Observability roles with hands-on Kubernetes production experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, or related field with at least 2 years related experience; Master's with 1+ year or PhD also acceptable.
Strong experience with AWS cloud (CloudWatch, X-Ray, Managed Prometheus/Grafana) and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Proficiency with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo/Jaeger, OpenTelemetry.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in designing and operating cloud-native observability platforms serving both internal teams and external customer-facing services.
Comfortable leading observability-related incident analysis and mentoring junior engineers in a cross-functional, fully distributed offshore environment.
Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go with a background in software development and security focus preferred.
