Develop and enhance embedded software applications for Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) in pumps and drives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including system architects and automation engineers to integrate VFDs with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and IoT platforms.
Contribute to software architecture, governance, testing architecture, and process improvements to ensure product quality and innovation.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering.
9 - 12 years of experience specifically in VFD application engineering.
Strong expertise in Embedded C programming and experience with RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS, Threadx).
Must be based in or willing to work in Chennai as position location is explicit.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Deep experience with industrial manufacturing VFDs including knowledge of motor types (induction, synchronous) and configuration for various load types.
Skilled in integrating VFDs with industrial communication protocols and control systems.
Experienced with debugging tools (JTAG, oscilloscope, logic analyzer) and automation/scripting for VFD diagnostics and configuration.
